Has anyone ever tried bundled pricing? 25 Oct 2015 07:07 #42583

Ticket, popcorn, and drink for $X?

Also, would the studios demand their percentage on the whole amount?

What if you advertised it as "buy any ticket at regular price get X amount discount at the concession"?

Rufusjack is right. Bundled pricing, however you put it, will result in you having to pay a cut of the entire ticket price to the studios. The usual suspects are the most notorious about wanting the cut. I haven't seen anyone brave enough to try this in years. I think the studio contracts are pretty specific about this because some operators did bundles and ripped off the studios.
