1. What would you guys expect to get paid(or to pay someone) for a manager of a new 12 screen theatre. 3. As I wrestle with new management techniques as we open our #2 I'm very worried about theft.
One idea I have I got from Las Vegas. I'm hiring a local book keeping company to walk in unannounced (a couple times a month) ...just like casino dealers) and switch drawers before closing and do the cash out looking for the errors.

Any other ideas? What did you do, try, or have done to you?

4. Its a hard thing to do no matter how bad the situation is. When do you feel is the best time to take your employee aside for their conference. I would think that at shifts end would be the best bet. I'm I wrong? http://www.bigscreenbiz.com/ubb/Forum43/HTML/000121.html

5. I own a small theatre in Montana, and I am looking at the possibility of purchasing another. I have been running my theatre for about 9 years, and have really enjoyed it. I love the challenge of finding ways to save money and making my theatre the best it can be.
Its one thing to own a business, and run it your self because you know what you have to do the please the custormer. But when you hire someone its just a job to them and they are not likly to go out of their way to make people happy.
My question is if you hire someone that hopefully you can trust to do a good job, what should you pay them?
This theatre is in a small town, is a single screen, and runs two show each night.

6. A shy applicant asks re: managing a 7 screen theatre. How much in a small town can he expect that it will pay. We manage our own. Our senior projectionists (if they worked 40 hours) make in the

7. I find myself with a problem here and am looking for some suggestions. I have seven people working for me. They are all good employees and I have no complaints. The problem is with giving everyone equal time. Two of the people were just fill-ins for vacations and sickness. But now I would like to put them on full time also.
