I also don't understand the problem of people sitting inside, using the bathrooms etc etc even if they aren't watching a show..
Everyone is a potential customer. So we treat everyone who comes through the door as if they were one. The toilets have to be cleaned each night anyway so what does it matter? We are lucky in our area in that the teens are pretty well behaved, but if they do misbehave, we just tell them its not acceptable and if they aren't seeing a film to please move on. if they are seeing a film, we just ask them to settle down. Teenagers are people too.. they can be some of your best customers. They spend the most money on concessions and see the most films. if you set down your tolerances right away, they respect it. Theres always going to be the odd kid or bunch who won't settle, so you chuck them out if theyre bothering others.

You are lucky you have not had any accidents. We used to welcome people when they were downtown for events and let them use the restrooms etc. But then a little old lady fell. Told the abulance attendants she had new glasses and was not used to them yet. Her insurance company sued our insurance company. Stated there was water on the floor and it was too dark in the restroom area. None of this was true but none of the emergency workers reports said anything either way so apparently they could say what they wanted to and raise doubts in peoples mind. Our comapny settled our of court and canceled us becuase she was not a paying custpomer. So now you have a ticket to enter the building.

Thats just crazy..your insurance company must have used poor lawyers. Its a rest room..of course theres going to be water on the floor.People always shake their hands onto the floor... I don't know how bright your lights are..but I would have fought that.

Insurance companies will never fight a small settlement. It's always cheaper to cut a check for a few grand than it is to get lawyers to fight a court case.

Of course, the policy holder takes it in the pocket either way.
