Hey Everyone-
I am a business student at UW Madison. For one of my classes we had to develop a proposal and presentation on any topic- my group chose to look into having a movie theater on campus. I stumbled upon this site and am working on going through all the threads- just looking for some additional thoughts on the project:
Our unions currently show one free movie/weekend but sell out within minutes. There are 2 theaters off campus (~3 miles away), but only 1/4 students have vehicles on campus and the bus system is unreliable. In a survey of students, the majority said that any form of entertainment on campus would be valuable.
Just curious if there was any advice out there on the feasibility of a movie theater on a college campus as well as suggestions for important aspects to look into for theater development.
