During a new build or a refurbish project, have any of you offered personalized bricks for sale?

A local restaurant has offered personalized bricks for sale (person's name or business engraved in a brick) for $50 that are then laid down to create the entrance sidewalk/entryway. Those purchasing bricks feel honored to be a permanent part of the project, it helps raise extra money for the build, it's a unique attention-getter to patrons, and the bricks are used as actual pavers which saves construction supply costs. Anyone done this, or something similar?

A non-profit theatre near here sold name plates that were attached to the seats when they did their multi-million dollar remodel.

we did it for a local bridge. I always felt if I am for profit I would not ask for help. But.... briocks are a kind of cool idea: I could see it work. Especially if in a town that really wanted a theatre and it was a way for people to say "I helped!"

Disney has sold bricks several time for differnt things at their theme parks so if someone will buy it then I say sell it!
