I was looking at a theater that has two screens each 200 seats. Digital all new booth! It is street level in the front. In the back the downstairs goes out to the parking lot at street level. it is the length of the theater but has dirt that can be dug down to level it off and make two more nice size screens.
A staircase can be lead down will be really nice.
The only problem is beams all over that will mess up the sight lines. Has anyone ever come across this and overcome it.
I guess support beams can be placed on the sides and the middle of the two screens which will be covered to separate the theaters.
Any input on this?

Best to find the enginner who built the cinema or to another engineer and talk to them. How wide is the column specings? If you look at the space between the columns and if you remove one set of columns how wide is the space? You might be able to put the isles on the other side of the columns and lose a seat or two so that people can access the rows.
