Does anyone have any links or recommendations of companies who supply air-tight or "sound proof" auditorium doors.

We have a pair of swinging doors that have seen better days and I'd like to replace them with something better.

Thanks.

Most solid core doors fire rated at 90 minutes or more are fine for sound IF they are properly gasketed--as in a smoke gasket. I'd guess you are not using them to sound proof between auds but only to the lobby. If so go to a commercial building supplier (NOT Home Depot) and you should be able to get a good blank door that you can paint to match with a frame for well under $400. This is if you do the install. Remember the exit hardware on the old door might not be to code for the new door. Good modern UL rated fire hardware and closers can be found on eBay for around $100.
