Hi,

I am looking for information on opening, owning, and operating a movie theater. Specifically, information on how much theater owners make on viewings vs. concessions. I am in the ny area and understand that big movie houses are dominating the area, but I feel there is room for the independent movie theater owner given the right circumstances. If anyone can point me in the direction to any books/websites/publications on where the starting point for such a tough business to get into, it would be greatly appreciated.
