As you will start to notice, and hear time and time again, is the fact that this business is very hard to succeed in.

Read further back to old posts and you will quickly learn about house allowances, percentages, etc.

"Would you like fries with that?"

First of all, you are in the wrong forum. To get better exposure I would suggest either THE LOBBY or THE BACK OFFICE. This forum is for design related topics having to do with the physical layout of theatres and their components.

You really should hire a booker to get started, and then as you learn the business you can decide whether you want to assume that responsibility yourself.

hi there thanks for your advice, i will not actually be running the show but doing the ground work, so please don't take my response the wrong way. I will be hiring someone with experience and am the only cinema in the city of the continent I am setting up in.
Thanks for the advise and the direction to the right forum.
