I found a number of sites that distribute candy for wholesale, and theaters, and I was wondering if any of you had experience trying to sell candy by the lbs? It looks like with most wrapped and unwrapped candy they come in 5 lb bags and the math on them is about $2.80 a lbs. Is it not worth it to go this route? I just thought it might give our theater an interesting theme. Or is this not profitable? And its better off going the good old fashioned theater boxed candy way?

I could not consider this because it would take too much time the way my concession is setup. there are vendors at the trade shows pushing this. If you have more of a food court setup with a single checkout point this works well.

If you want to do something different then yes this seams like it would do it too.
