Why not make some popcorn Balls? Put some in differen't colors of celeophane (found at arts&crafts stores) and use black markers or cut pieces of black felt glued on to immitate eyes, mouths, ears and maybe tails? Sell these for a little more, but the point will be a promotion to create variety. Your sales counter girls may be willing to come in specially to make and decorate these. With different flavorings, colors and decorations you might start a treat that your customers will like.
The guys on your staff might like to create lobby displays of cardboard (or insulation board from a home improvements store) cut-out standees in the shape of snowmen --but covered in popcorn and holding aloft a sign talking about "Popcorn Month". Buy a few scarfs at such as Goodwill and wrap them around the necks of the figures. You could also use clear bulk popcorn delivery bags (stuffed with popped corn) stacked upon each other in different sizes to make the figures, then suitably decorated.
Make it a fun volunteer time for your staff with refreshments, maybe "Frosty The Snowman" or "Winter Wonderland" playing quietly in the background (lest they bring in their own boom boxes and it turn into an unsupervised orgy), and lots of artsy stuff at hand to encourage creativity (glitter, spray paints and glue, synthetic fibers for wigs, colored construction paper, etc, etc.) Matbe put a photo of each staff member's face on a snowman or woman? Bakery suppliers sell large containers of food colorings and spray bottles for them; mixing new colors can be fun. Just remember to leave no corn open to touch and grab, or your display may be eaten by your patrons!
