Do you get many people asking for healthy or sugar free snack foods? We get a lot ask and so we bring in healthy bars and sugar free occasionally. They don't sell fast, but its handy to have there for the diabetics etc. We also have cough lozenges for sale.

We don't. We tried.
Offering a token 2 or 3 items just got people riled up, because there was no real selection for them.

We have the same problem with non-carb drinks. Over the years, we've had several flavors of juices and soft drinks, though just one or two at a time... even milk, for a while. It just seems that no matter what you do have, they'll ask for something else.

Fruit punch seems to have done better for us than any other single offering, so that's what we have right now.

Here's a song to live by (or at least get a smile out of)

I'm with Rodeo on this. We tried and died. The best sellers seem to be the old standards: Jr. Mints, Duds, Red Vines, etc. Also, the profit on the healthy stuff is lower and makes watching them rot even less appealing.
