Here is the response I received from my inquiry to Nestle:
"Thank you for your email letting us know of your disappointment in being
unable to find Nestlé(r) Bon Bons(r) at your local market. We realize how
frustrating it can be to search for, but fail to find your favorite dessert
treats.
Unfortunately, our Nestlé(r) Bon Bons(r) have been discontinued, but because
consumers love bite size ice cream products, we are introducing a new bite
size ice cream line under our Dreyer's/Edy's Ice Cream brand. This product
is called Dreyer's/Edy's Dibs(r) and is available in five flavors. These
include: vanilla ice cream with chocolate coating, chocolate ice cream with
chocolate coating, mint ice cream with chocolate coating, vanilla ice cream
with Nestlé(r) Drumstick(r) coating and vanilla ice cream with Nestlé(r)
Crunch(r) coating. These products will be available in your local grocery
stores starting in May 2005."
I wrote back how disappointed I was for all the good that will do.
