AND they have no carbs until you wrap them in those buns! My customers who buy hot dogs usually also buy popcorn and soda. Ninety five percent of my patrons during the Tuesday matinees I have for the handicapped buy a hot dog/large soda special and a small popcorn for $5.50.

We recently bought a new hot dog steamer from our local Gold Medal dealer. As a part of "the deal", he threw in 3 cases of their own "house brand" of hot dogs.

Talk about GROSS. If you can imagine the taste of a canned Vienna Sausage on a bun.

I had a customer bring on back because she said it tasted horrible. I refunded her money and went to the kitchen to taste for myself. I immeadiately went to the freezer and threw remaining 2 1/2 cases in the dumpster.

The 1/6 pound 100% all-beef hot dogs from our food rep cost more.. but I'm willing to spend the money for a GOOD hot dog.
