I have some room in my display counter at the concessions. I was thinking about stocking it with piece candy like BIT-O-Honey and ROOT BEER BARRELS, old time candy like that and selling them for maybe .10 each and putting them in small penny candy bags. I would disply the candy in tubs under the counter. I hate those wall candy units but I think this might work. Any views on the subject?

I think that it may hurt your cents per person, as well as slow down your concession line. I can see the little kids already arguing,"I want 5 bit-o-honeys, 3 root beer barrels, no wait 3 bit-o honeys, 6 root beer barrels" etc...

I sell tootsie rolls and sour gummi worms for ten cents each. The kids here go for the bigger candy bars when they come in and come back later to spend their last few cents on the ten cent candy. My per cap average for the year is $3.04. I don't think the ten cent candy hurts sales at all; it gets their last dime.

I agree Burney and plan to do the same with my project.
