It is our policy to close the concession stand 45 minutes after the last show starts. Often the staff just sits around for most of this time.
It then takes about 20 to 30 minutes to take our counts, close out the register, boil the kettle, clean and restock etc. During this time not one customer.
WITHOUT FAIL - as soon as everything is all done, cleaned up and closed out and we are turning off the lights - someone comes up and wants to order. I have become convinced that it is some sort of ESP.
