Anyone know the reciepe for the base mix?? My supplier wants 120.00 per case, it's sugar water there has to be a cheaper way

Since I used to like Coke Icees, why don't you just try to pour a two-liter bottle of Coke in to the thing. If that works then you can use any fruit flavored mix to make it work. Cherry flavored Kool-Aid might work.

We used to make fresh squeezed lemonade in our granita machine until it exploded. So we made Icee take it back and we bought a bubbler and we have lemonade and ice tea in that.

Slush base is $6-7 a gallon most everywhere I've looked.

I pay $20.56 a case of 4 gallons of slush base, and it is a 5 to 1 mix, I have seen it packed with out sugar and if you have the room, time, ect it is much cheaper, even adding your own sugar. One reason my case price is cheaper than what I see others are is that I am lucky enough to have my supplier in same area as the manufacturer (Milwaukee) so---shipping is not involved. The base is heavy and shipping can be a big factor in price.
