I was walking through the theater the other night and notice one of those dark spots on the carpet that can only mean one thing,stopped Gummy Bears. So I got down and spent the time it took, too long, to get the stuff out of the carpet. I'd like to know what you use to get that stuff up out of the carpet. I know that there has to be a better way then pulling it out with a pocket knife.

WE had a liquid "gum and spot remover" that worker fairly well but made the carpet slick.
a janitor with a scraper works well. Our janitor also had a "freeze spray"( I have know idea where he got it it was one of those "not approved " chemicals.) that hardened the gook and then it scraped right off. ever get one of those stuck to your screen?

We have a beautiful art deco Durkan carpet and we are neurotic about spot cleaning it. http://www.durkan.com/n4index.html The best thing to to is get it fast. Everyone of our staff cleans carpet and picks up stuff off the floor fast.
