Now that I got done raving about our Cretors Diplomat I just recalled that the corn from our Manley was always piping hot because the warming pan was warmer. The Diplo corn is barely warm to the touch. How do you test or tell if the temp is right? What temp should it be?

It always seems that really hot corn was tough and the cooler corn was better. our corn was nevery really piping hot. but we did not have doors on our poppers either.
