I know of a very small community with its historic theater for sale. A few people in the community are beginning to talk about how to put together some sort of a group or co-op to buy and operate this theater. From an operational and management standpoint, it seems fairly straightforward to me, but I've always been curious as to how non-profit groups go about booking films with the studios. Who signs the personal guarantees that are required for the MLA's with the studios?
