well, the plan is to have optical wipes in the trolley for customers to grab along with the glasses as they go in. I researched a dishwasher and may go to that in the future but for now I felt the customer would be more comfortable KNOWING their glasses were clean because they did it. I'm looking for a more reasonably priced vendor for the optical wipes than Xpand right now. We will do a soft opening with Nightmare before Xmas this weekend to work out the kinks before Christmas Carol opens...

Wow, I'm not sure that would be "legal" everywhere, at least so far as sterile eyewear requirements. Many places require UV sterilization for re-usable eyewear.

I guess that's why I asked. I've been told that some places require you to buy a commercial dishwasher to wash the darn things. With the RealD system, you trade a 50 cent charge per ticket for not having to worry about the things. If you're a CBG member the upfront fee goes away so 3D is no extra charge up front. Anyway, good luck with Xpand. Nice to know there are alternatives out there with postivies and negatives of their own. I'm getting an NEC projector too....

I have also own tanning salons for 13 years and we have extremely rarely have problems with the glasses we use. We spray them with as cleaner and are good to go. How would that be different? some states require customers to have their own eyeware.

Leeler, Did you find out if their is a 10 year term with CBG vs 5 year without CBG yet with Real3d? (according to the FT site).

Real D was tempting, I guess I'm getting environmentally aware and worried about all those glasses.....I may regret my decision. I hate those hard lessons learned!!!

What is a free site for websites. Geocities is closed and Angelfire is so confusing. Any suggestions of a site to make a website that is easy and nice looking to start out!

I'm paying $17.95 for my site, including unlimited email accounts/aliases. It's been all I've needed since 1996. Free sites will include whatever advertising they want to put on your pages, and there are limitations on the amount of bandwidth they allow you.

Something maybe to consider.
