TOPIC: Carpet Sweeper

Carpet Sweeper 18 Nov 2008 03:59 #30369

Is anyone still using these? What are the preferred brands and model # if available?
Thanks.

We don't use a small one right now, but there used to be a durable small one called a "Hoky" that worked really well and lasted forever.

We do have a HUGE one made by Power-Flite called the Piranah. It looks like a lawnmower and sweeps about a 28 inch path. It will sweep up napkins and straws and most other big matter into a huge bin. We really like ours, though it isn't as durable as I would like.

I ditto the Hokey brand. In '04 when I worked for Regal I used them and my GM told me they were designed for restaurants to pick up even lettuce off the floor. It did very well even on tile floors.
