I've decided to give-in and post this.

I am desperate to find a new projectionist for our theatre. Due to the lack of acceptable applicants in my immediate area I feel I need to go to Hot Jobs, etc...

Does anyone have a standard form they've used when posting help wanted ads for projectionists? Would you be willing to let me borrow some of your verbage?

Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

Are you looking for someone already skilled as a projectionist? Or could you find someone with technical skills, who could learn the art and science of good projection?

Many college students would find projection to be a good part time job. If they are on a technical career path (e.g., engineering, computer science, or filmmaking), they likely have the ability to learn quickly.

You could also contact your local Projectionists union (I.A.T.S.E., the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and Moving Picture Machine Operators of the United States & Canada). Their members are already quailfied to give you a top-notch presentation on-screen.
