I live in a town about 30 minutes from a major city. This county has 1 movie theater that is small (used to be 2 room but has converted one room to 2). The theater is old, nasty, and horrible to watch a movie at. Without hard facts I know that a large percent of the residents travel to the large city in another county to see a movie. There are ~56,000 full time residents in the county but it swells tremendously in the summertime. Is it worth taking the investment plunge to open a nice theater 3-4 room theater in this town? How do I do the research?
