Does anyone here offer Movie Facts for their theaters? Are you happy with Movie Facts? Does it make a difference in the amount of business that is generated at your theater?

It is a tri-fold broucher that some theaters provide in their lobbies. It has a masthead on it which gives the information of the theater (name, address, phone numbers) as well as promotions, discounts, and any other pertinant information the theater wants on the broucher. The rest of the broucher has short descriptions of the upcoming movies and other movie information. The brouchers are provided free to the theaters (include the stand for the brouchers) and the company obtains locale businesses to buy ad space in the broucher. I just signed up for it the other day and will start offering it at my 4-screen in October. I was just wondering what other theaters have done with Movie Facts.

We've had it since December. People seem to like it because they can find out the story line for upcoming films. We clean some up off the floor of the theaters and the stack doesn't seem to get a lot lower over the 3 months that they cover but they are worthwhile overall. It is a good customer service tool but it won't change anything significant about your business.

We create our own flyer every week with film times, synopsis and what's coming soon.

We also print an 8-page monthly newsletter that is mailed and distributed in the region. Ad space is sold by the local newspaper who also prints the piece.

I didn't realize there was a service out there!

We have it and it's a hit. We put them out at the beginning of each show and we've noticed that the pile is always smaller when we pick them up at the end of the night. People get excited I think when they can see what movies are coming up. Its a handy thing to have at the theatre. Sometimes a person will walk up to me and ask me what movies are coming and I walk over and get sheet. When I tell them they can keep it they always seem pleased.
