When I talk to the distribs they'll say "It's tracking at a 29!" Where do they get tracking figures? Are they available anywhere you know of?

I haven't heard that phrase before. What does it mean?

"Tracking" is how film distribs check for interest by polling , etc. Tracking indicates the degree of interest: 29 is good but Star Wars at 54 was an all time high. 1 is not good: Big Trouble was tracking at a 1 just before it opened! You Booker guys: where do you get tracking numbers? Is it something only the Studio has?
