Most of the theaters I've been to seem to have all Male Managers. I was just curious if anyone knew what the ratio was.

That is an interesting subject, I would like to know the ratio on that too. At my theatre I have a female who is my Assistant. In fact, when it comes to Assistants, I have always seemed to have better luck with females rather than males.

Hi, I've been really busy so far, and that's why I haven't posted...

I'm involved in a radio station's new show using all teens to create radio drama. It's my job to get us passes to preview movies. I just found out that the manager of SilverCity Polo Park is named Maria Shaw. There's one woman. The manager at Cinema City is Terry, who I know and my dad is good friends with Jeff Osato, who manages SilverCity St. Vital

I don't know about managers, but my impression at my first ShoWest last year was that it is a white male dominated industry. If I were to hire a manager, sex wouldn't matter. I want someone trustworthy and extremely conscientious who has a passion for the business, not the paycheck.
