I was wondering why some theater gimmicks have gone the way of the dinosaur. Sometimes Hollywood will bring back 3-D, which never really turns out to be that good. But how about Sensorround and those great phyco movies that used to feature the beating heart and the timer at the right upper corner of the screen. Gee, guess I'm pretty old to remember that stuff. But back then it was so cool.

There's always sense a round, smella a rama, and two years ago at Show West there was an earthquake seat that would shake you up. They come they go and good movies remain.
