Someone has been looking through a P&L statement copying out headings.

I haven't been copying anything. My friend, who got her MBA, gave me this categories, but she said she didn't know what theatres were making. She doesn't know a whole lot of the industry.

Here's an idea: Ask a FEW of these at a time. I bet you'll see an increase in response. Just a thought.

I did an interview with a couple CPA students where they needed info for a class project. The first criterian was pick a couple topics, not all of them. It took us an hour to get past just popcorn and pop.

Great,
Some of these listings will not mean a hill of beans to you just starting out. such as gift certificates redeemed and discount cards redeemed , Box office over short and others that are meaningless to a business plan. i was not being mean its just that the majority of this list is from a profit and loss statement from a Corp and these are thier headings.
Now when you are in business then they are all relevant if they pertain to your business. If you don't have discount cards you won't need to keep teack of them.

Great Thespian is Andrew McCrea. The 13-year-old Andrew McCrea is from Winnipeg, Canada. He was a pest on another forum. I have, up till now, tolerated his use of this forum because he hasn't been a pest. But since he has now lied to us all, I feel that it is necessary to expose him. Especially since he called himself a university graduate and he just called me; "My friend, who got her MBA, gave me this categories, but she said she didn't know what theatres were making. She doesn't know a whole lot of the industry."

He got this list from me. I am a man, without an MBA, who knows a great deal about this industry. I sent him this list to illustrate that he didn't know as much as he claimed to know.

Here is his picture.

I just think it isn't right for Mr. McCrea to use multiple identities on this forum. I also don't think it is right for him to misrepresent himself to us. I would be happy to change my identity on this forum to my real name at any time.

Ah HA I knew I recognized the bantering that I had seen it somewhere before. Film Tech I believe. I knew that the "list" was too much of non essential P&L statement headings to be of interest for a business plan

Thanks for the alert Large. We are addressing this issue now. We don't feel we need this kind of bantering.

Andrew has been informed that he's welcome here as long as he does not pretend to be a theatre owner and will only appear as Grand Cameo. Some of his questions have been interesting and some of a nature only a young man not involved in the very real world of theatre biz could imagine. He/you probably has a great career ahead of him as either a theatre operator or The Man of A Thousand Faces! I wish I knew as much as he does now when I opened my theatre! Cheers.
