I am looking at hosting a local film festival (of sorts) at a local drive-in movie theatre. I say of sorts because it will only be a night time event. The drive-in only has 35mm.
I have sponsors for the event so I do have some money towards it, but I am not looking at purchasing this historic place a new projector.
Is anyone aware of movie projector rentals? I have found sites like
www.atsrentals.com/page--Projector-Rentals--gg.html. I was just wondering if anyone out there has had any experience projector rentals?
Im not overly concerned about true HD quality. But blu ray capabilities would be nice. I imagine picture quality will break up a lot, but the purpose of doing it at a drive-in is for nostalgia, right?
Audio, Screen and such are already set up
