Recently picked up four Eprad Swords for parts for a Eprad Mutt that I still use. Attached to the Swords were Eprad soundheads, that simply went with the deal. Never thought much about the soundheads, until I noticed they had been converted to Jax Lights and stereo solar cells. Tried a little research online but found little so far. If anyone has experience with Eprad soundheads could you tell me what projector heads you have seen run with these units. All I know about them is, they have very early serial numbers. I have never used Eprads. That company was best known for their drive-in speakers. The soundheads should work with any projector (that does not have built-in soundheads) as all companies made their soundheads adaptable for any projector.

Mostlikely the urothane of the sound drum will have hardend and cracked
They were not a robust soundhead by any stretch but extremely clever in using a tacky rubber roller for the sounddum (like a PTR roller) and a odd damper that moved up and down as well as rocked in out called a whiffle tree
Very low wow and flutter when new
parts will be almost nill for them

If I can find out how to mount a projector head, I plan to mount the unit on my test pedastal and check it out. I doubt I would ever use it, but it should be fun to tinker with it. I think I have some old Eprad mono amps I could rig to the soundheads. Thank You again.
