Just curious how many of you do a "spring cleaning" type of thing for your projectors before the summer season? Do you change out your Xenon Lamps? Do you have a tech come in and balance the light, Perform Analog and Digital A-Chains, Time your shutters, Check your projecor aiming to make sure no one bumped the console out of position, Time your platters, Do a full mechanical and electrical inspection? Do you give a good thorough cleaning to your projectors, and lamp houses? What else do you do to prepare for the busy summer season?

we do it every 4 months......Bulb as needed..

we do it twice a year. bulbs when we need them.

We do a spring cleaning in the lobby, however!

At the service company I worked for we did PM routines three times a year for most of our contract customers, some negotiated a lower rate for only 2 PM routines a year. I would try to visit each location once a month. I would do 1/3rd of the PM's and knock out thier problem list. Staying on top of things made my job easier as I would only have to spend a couple hours a month at a location as opposed to two days once a year or something. It also made the customers very happy.
