Hello,

I have been asked to help dismantle a projection booth in Nashua, NH.
I would like to find a home for this equipment.
If you are interested, or know of anyone who might, PLEASE pass this
information along.
Friday August 5th it all goes to the dump!

There are 2 MotioGraph Projectors and all the audio is RCA
"Photophone"...

They are at Elm St. Jr. High School in Nashua, NH. It would certainly
be nice to have some donation to the school department towards
renovation of their booth. I have no idea what these machines are worth.

IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO COPY THIS ONTO THE "Film-Tech" site, IT WOULD BE BEST FOR YOU TO DO SO; I do not have priviliges there.

It will have to be reworded so as to appear original, if you do post it over there. The guy who owns the FT board has something about duplicate posts on both sites. I know... I did the dastardly deed & got smacked with the ruler of death!

As for that equipment, I would have loved having a booth like that when I was in high school. The lack of exhaust stacks on a couple of carbon arc lamps is disturbing, though.

If those two projectors and the RCA sound system weren't so outdated, I would drive up there, donate a few hundred, and take them myself. Newer films cannot even be shown on these projectors anymore because of their new cyan soundtracks. A red reader assembly alone costs about 600 each. That's twelve hundred for both projectors. He won't be able to even give them to a museum and the nearest garbage bin may be the best bet1

Actually the Component Engineering model ASR-40 RCA fits this soundhead perfectly. It's only around $400 for it now.
