Here is what looks like a good deal on a screen for someone on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7527071739&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1

I'm kind of curious how they can say it's never used if they have a picture of it hanging. It's not like showing movies on it wears it out.

Actually they wear out the UV light yellows them and they due to climatatic air born polution loose their gain
Also they MDI screens must be stretched a lot to hang and rehanging one would be very difficult

The description says the picture is for illustration only, and that the actual screen has not been removed from its original shipping tube.

That's what I get for not reading.
That's interesting Gordon, I knew screens yellowed over time, but I didn't realize the projector light actually accelerated that process (or caused it outright.) Learn something everyday.

Airborne and atmospheric pollutants can adversely affect a screen, as can excessive dampness. In days past, a screen used where the audience was allowed to smoke would yellow very quickly. Likewise, any use of blowers to clean an auditorium will really stir up dirt that clings to the screen and fills the sound perforations.
