In addition to the previously announced conversion to cyan dye analog tracks by MGM and Disney, Miramax has announced that they will be using cyan dye analog tracks for all their prints starting January 1, 2005.

More distributors are expected to announce their conversion plans later this year (perhaps at ShowEast).

Cyan dye analog tracks require red readers to play properly, and will produce unsatisfactory results with old "white light" tungsten readers.
