Our new 2 screens have 22' ceiling at the front, wood sloping floors, domed plaster ceilings, pebbled plaster walls on one side, popcorn shot covered sheet rock on the other: there's an 8 speaker surround with a big back screen spkr/ we're going to insulate and fabric cover two 15 X 20 wall sections in each theatre. How do you think the sound will be?

Probably be some reverberation problems domed ceilings and hard surfaces are a problem so the more fabric the better, also there should be a accoustic material behind it such as rigid fiberglass insulation( 1" thick on the side walls 2" on the back or spray on K13.
Also what type of speaker is behnd the screen
Each type of speaker has different characteristics for coverage and pattern control so one should not just plunk one in and that is that
Personally I also am not a fan of centre surround systems
