I'm looking for a sidewalk sign that is big enough to put a standard one sheet into and maybe have a few rows of lettering for showtimes. does such a thing exist? Has to be able to stand some wind and rain. google has failed me

I know exactly what you want. It has springs on the bottom so it can bend in the wind and not fall over. I have seen one in some just this year but I am sure I pitched the ad.

any good sign shop should be able to custom one of these exactly as you want it.

I have owned several of those for other businesses I've had. Generally, it is just a snap-lock poster case attached to a base, that has springs on it to swing in the wind. They have a plexi-glass cover to go over the poster, but hardly waterproof. The poster will get wet and stick to the plexi-glass, which you will then have to scrape off every time(because the sun will have baked it onto the plexi). ALSO-If you plan to put this on the sidewalk, it won't work very well for you. The legs are so long (to keep it upright) that it takes up a lot of space, and there is a great potential for someone to trip over the legs. Usually, I have seen this sign used at fast food type restaurants where it is placed in the grassy area in front of the store where people don't walk.
