I have some customers that are very weird. They bring in their old cup or popcorn bag from one of their previous trips here and when no one is looking, slip it out of their coat or purse or whatever and just leave it on my counter. This sometimes happens when they are at the counter buying concessions or sometimes later during the movie. They never say anything about it and always make sure no one sees them do it. The only way I narrowed it down to them was to rewind my surveillance tape and watch it on the video monitor one day.

got to hand it to them. that really is one I've never heard of before.

What??? Are they looking for a refill or just for you to handle the garbabe?

One time I thought someone wanted a refill and refilled a bag of popcorn that was left, thinking the owner had gone to the restroom. Nope. No one came back. They always just surreptitiously put it on the counter and leave. No one ever even sees who leaves it.

I don't get what they want. They are just weird. She is a small time lawyer. "Splains" it all.

I had a weird one last weekend. A child about 10 years old comes up and buys a large bag of maltesers($4.50--Aussie money) then gives another child 50 cents from the change. I serve the kid that gets the 50 cents (who bought a lollypop..60 cents) and they both go to leave. I call out to the first kid that their Maltesers are on the bench and she says "Oh no, I don't want any thanks"..I told her she already paid for them. She shrugged and said "I don't want them"..I had to force her to take them with her..I thought that was weird..she must have only got them to get change...but I would have just given change if asked!!

i have a lady that washes her soda cups and brings them back (so as not to waste) and pays full price for a new soda...
