The other evening while standing in a ticket line I was pretty irritated with a person in front of me when he got up to the ticket booth. The line was long, and it was cold outside. But this guy insisted on talking to the ticket taker even after he had paid for his tickets. He should have been a bit more considerate about the people behind him. I could see that although the girl at the ticket window was trying to be nice she clearly wanted him to move on.

I guess he knew the ticket taker and wanted everyone to know. While he was playing it cool, the rest of us freezing.

Apparently the cashier was not very well trained. She should have just told him to move on. Our company has a rule prohibiting employees from visiting during working hours and we managers are responsible to enforce it. Sadly, not all of us do.
