I'm not really an advocate for violence but I do have a gripe about bad guys. You see all kinds of violence in movies today but when it comes to the part when the bad guy gets his just come-upins his death never justifies his crimes. Why is that? If the movies are a mirror of the times, I wonder what will become of Sadam? His end should be obvious, but who knows.

Our justice system is run by lawyers. For most of them, money is their only incentive to work--guilt or innocence doesn't matter. I think Saddam will get his just due, but I wouldn't count on anything happening to him for months, maybe years--unless somebody like Jack Ruby gets through all the security.

Well Papajoe, movies are not a mirror of the times but rather producer's attempts to feed the appetites for violence they have fostered in a certain segment of society.

Look around your theatre sometime when you play that type of film and you'll see it the same people who attend every time. You'll also notice there is another segment of society that is missing.

I hope the powers that be let the Iraqi people take care of Saddam.
