In the June 9-15th issue of Variety. Imagine, taking the smut off the street and replacing it with not one but two great movie houses. That is what the was done to Gotham's 42ed Street. It now boasts The Empire Theatre, which opened with The Matrix:Reloaded and the Loews E-Walk that opened with Bruce Almighty. We've talked about all the new thatres that keep poping up dispite all the ones that close. But sometimes it's a good thing.

As a guy who used to cut HS and take the .25 bus ride into the old Port Authority I liked the old 42nd st a whole lot better before Disney cleaned it up. I saw a lot of movies there but never any porn.
