While I was skimming through an issue of Daily Variety I came across an article about things that Ebert and Roeper don't like about the bigger theatres. Made me happy for the little guy. In case your wondering what they were I've listed them below.
1. Too few mature ushers and managers.
2. Too much air conditioning.
3. Too little soundproofing between auditoriums.
4. Too many cell phones.
5. Too few big screens.
6. Too-bright house lights during films.

Hmm... They must have been at Regal!!!

I say that because it seems that the "biggest of the big boys" wants the lights up bright enough to read a book by during the film. (At least that is they case with the Regal's in my neck of the woods.)

Personally I like a dark theatre.
