I got to thinking about all the sequels that are being made from big box office movies. I think many a movie that could really become classics are hurt by this. Certainly "Shrek" is was a big box office draw and if they just left the big green guy alone, maybe it would be right up there with "The Wizard of Oz". But by making a sequel don't you take some of that special feel away from the original. And how about "The Grinch"? Remember how great we thought "Toy Story" was. Then came "Toy Story II", which was first only stlated for home video. Are they shooting themselves in the foot or does greed truely prevail?
