I've heard that many of the big movie studios have auctions as fund raisers and other events. Have any of you ever been to one? What was it like and did you get a chance to bid on anything?

They all do it all the time selling off props. There are stores full of stuff out in LA. New Line has its own site. Ent. Weekly always mentions the auctions.
