When I look at upcomming movie listings I always see these movies that have have not been rated yet. My guess is that most of them get a rating but what about the ones that don't. How do you decide what there rating should be? How do you handle it? Is it just a judgement call by the owner?

Here is a link to the "official" site of the MPAA Classification and Rating Administration (CARA). As soon as a film is rated, it will be posted on this site:

The site also has copies of the ratings information posters and "Questions and Answers", as well as a database of all previously rated movies.
