I was thinking of some altrnates to the regular popcorn and candy venues and came up with coffee and cookies. Do any of you sell cookies? Like those big chocolate,or is that chocolat, chip variety. Do they go sell well? I'm thinking of the older crowd here. Those who aren't really into the candy thing.

We sell 4-dozen large cookies for $2, each week from a local gourmet bakery in town.

We have a push-button coffee machine that does Coffee, Cappuccino, Espresso and others. Regular coffee sells 3-1 over the specialty drinks. So I would recommend just a coffee maker with air-pots to serve out of.

Thanks for the info Large. Would you say that most of your cookie sales are from older people or does it seem to be a mix of everyone?

I don't know, I like to hide in the projection booth. Off hand, I'd say that it is wide spread. They are also asking for brownies. Cookies aren't a big percentage of our sales. The amount to 1-2%. It is still mostly popcorn and coke.

Believe it or not, Rice Krispie Squares are a popular thing at our place! We get the jumbo size (which is actually a rice kr. rectangle-about 2" by 4")at Sam's Club..all ready to go with Snap-Krackle-Pop right on the wrapper for that nostalgia/authenticity
angle. Just right with coffee!
