I have an extensive video collection and there is a large part of my lobby that is not being used. I'm playing with the idea of renting videos of the older movies during the weekdays and kepping with my current scheduale of movies in the evenings. There would be no rentals on the weekend because of the matinees. Has anyone experimented with this? Was just a big headache if you did or did it do good?

Were the videos purchased from a bonafide distributor specifically for rental? Not too sure of the legality of renting videos from a personal collection. I do know that you cannot SHOW them publicly, without paying a license fee to the distributor.

Gee... Sorry it took so long for me to answer. The rental movies would come from a regular distributor and the theater would run as a video store during that part of the day.I havn't actually started to do it yet, its still in the think mode right now. But thanks John for the input.
