I recently saw the re-release of "The Exorcist" and made some interesting observations that I would like to share. When I saw it the first time I was 24 years old. I remember the buzz about this being the scariest movie ever made. I couldn't wait to see it. When I finally did get to see it and the scene came up with Magan peeing on the floor I thought this is going to be heavy. I was rivited to the screen. The theatre was quiet. We were captured.
This time was different. The scene that hooked my back then now brought snickers from those around me and the pea soup and the head spinning was thought to be halrious. Says something about our society. What shocked us then now only amuses. This is scarier then any movie to me!
