The April of "not going that wide" was really painful. Nims/Sarah Marshall, Baby Mama, 21... all the top films: really took us out at the knees. By the time a print becomes available moviegoers want the "big film" which we could not get either. Crikes. I realize that this is a small town/ small market issue but for us little guys it smarts.

you're right about that Mike. This Friday is the first chance I could get a copy of "21". And it's still being circuited....

That multiplex near me that had two prints of Nim's ave, less than $1500 per print the first week! To be fair, 2nd week stayed about the same.

How many wasted prints were there?

We were just told this week that we could get 21 and Leatherheads but we passed as we could only hold them for a week due to Iron Man and Speed Racer. Thank god we did have Nims; it was only 3 weeks this time without anything brand new on the break.

Will this fall be the same as last year? I believe we went 8 weeks at least between playing films on the break this past fall.
