I just heard a national chain is going to be re-installing 35mm film equipment in several of their multiplex theaters. Not just a few houses in the complex, all houses in the buildings.

What is the name of the national chain, and at what locations? A little context would be useful if this comment is going to mean anything. I would also like to verify this, as it makes no sense whatsoever, unless they are closing these locations and liquidating their digital projectors.

It could be theaters are reinstalling 35mm because your required to keep 35mm capability on site to be in the VPF program. You need a waiver to NOT have 35 mm equipment on site and installed. I told them not a problem for me. I am keeping both 35mm set ups installed. The digital system is so small space is not a problem for me to keep both.
